Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is a free puzzle game developed and published by MOB Games. As the name suggests, this is the sequel to Poppy Playtime Chapter 1. It continues the storyline of the popular horror game but with a brand new area to explore.

More than new areas unlocked, Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 offers a more thrilling and mesmerizing plot. Although, the puzzles are a lot more difficult to complete. There is also a new enemy who is out to kill you. However, like its predecessor, the game has no actual tutorial, and the gameplay only lasts an hour. 

What does the sequel offer?

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 continues where Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 left off. It continues the end scene of the first Poppy Playtime game. However, when you make your way back out the door you came in, you make your way into a brand new area called The Train Station. Don't worry, though. Once you find the code for the train, you have the promise of escape.

Poppy is also there to help you, although it seems suspicious. Moreover, there is also a massive toy called Mommy Long Legs, which wants to play with you before she kills you. And if that is not challenging, she's not the only toy ready to end your life. There is even a giant spider toy you will have to face off against at the ending.

Heading from location to location remains the same. You will investigate and unlock hints and puzzles. But you have a bar that lets you swing across gaps with your Grabpack hand or grapple up to higher floors. Sadly, this item slightly takes away from the logic of the story. Players should also know that the puzzles are more challenging, and the game still lacks proper combat. 

Is the game good?

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 lives up to the hype of the first Poppy Playtime game. It brings the same creepy environment and chilling sounds to send your airs on your neck end. However, it offers a fresh area to explore and a new boss to beat. It also makes the puzzles more challenging for players. Overall, it provides a thrilling experience for the fans of the franchise.
